Comp Plan Land Use Map
The land use map is a really important document. "Land use defines a community’s physical form and function and provides a framework for all infrastructure related decisions, including transportation, conomic development, public utilities, community facilities, parks, and environmental protection." if properties are not classified correctly, it makes it much more difficult to approve or deny a rezoning case or development proposal. Below is a current snapshot for the Five Points land use map.

Owners of 3 parcels at the southwest corner of Glenwood and Wade are requesting a reclassification from Medium Density Residential to Office Residential - Mixed Use. A map for this proposed change is provided below:
